There’s still time for residents to register to set up shop – the more the merrier! It’s a great way to raise money for your favourite charity (or yourself), with a small percentage going to the Residents’ Association and you’ll have fun while doing so! If you don’t think you have enough for an entire stall, you could team up with a neighbour.
There’s no limit to what you can do so see the list above for what will be where.
Some suggestions for further ‘shops’
Home baking is always popular – the demand is never satisfied!
Refreshments – a few people are offering teas, but there’s always room for more. A reviving cuppa helps customers linger longer and you’ll be amazed at how much desperate recipients donate in return!
For children – there’ll be the usual popular Face-Painting but we’d love to offer additional activities or games, such as balloon modelling so if you can help with any ideas, please get in touch!
TOMBOLA PRIZES NEEDED – If you have any suitable items, please contact:
Dorothy Dobson, 23 Teviotdale Place (0131 332 8781) or Kenny Johnstone, 29 Avondale Place (0131 466 4494) or Elke Williams, 23 Rintoul Place (0131 343 3382)
If you would like to register to sell or just discuss an idea, please contact:
