YARD SALE – Sunday 21st May
We now have 20 people registered but there’s always space for more. Why don’t you join us?
Four people are selling plants but there’s room for more as plants always sell well.
Four people are selling home baking or teas and coffees, but there are never enough cakes and people are always grateful for a cuppa.
Eight people are selling Bric-a-Brac, Clothes, Toys, Books, Household goods – this is the perfect opportunity to declutter, as you only need to set up shop in your own garden!
Five people are selling crafts and a range of handmade goods.
There’ll be a tombola so we need prizes, please. If you can donate anything, please contact:
Dorothy Dobson (23 Teviotdale) or Elke Williams (23 Rintoul)
For children we’ll have a treasure hunt and face painting but would be delighted if you have an idea for more activities for children.
One person is having a ‘guess the weight of the luxury hamper’ competition to raise money for charity – why don’t you do something similar?
The Whole Shebang and the Self Righteous Brothers will be providing music but it would be wonderful if we had music in every street.
As you can see there will be a lot going on but there’s always space for more!
If you’d like to register to sell or organise an activity or game please email: coloniesyardsale@gmail.com.
Looking forward to hearing from all potential sellers soon and to seeing all Colonies residents out and about selling, browsing, buying… on Sunday afternoon, 21st May.
