During late evening and into the night please be mindful of the amount of noise you make – indoors and out of doors in your house and in your street.
Colonies houses are very close together and sound travels easily within and between houses (especially from those where there are few soft furnishings and where floors are hard), causing noise to reverberate along the buildings so that people having conversations in the street late at night are often unaware of how much upset they are causing. Please respect neighbours’ privacy and right to peaceful sleep during late evenings and during the night by keeping all noise, voices and music, to a minimum.
