Colonies Yard Sale 2024 ~ Sunday, 19th May, from 1pm

Our most popular annual event is, as usual, on the eve of Edinburgh’s Victoria Day holiday ie Sunday, 19th May. All Stockbridge Colonies residents are invited to set up shop in their own garden to sell to neighbours and visitors to the Colonies, maybe after visiting the Botanics, Stockbridge market or a stroll alongside the Water of Leith.

Look for the gardens decorated with bunting or balloons and you’ll find all manner of merchandise from plants, toys, books, refreshments and cakes to original arts, crafts and general household clearance items. Please bring cash and a basket for any surprise purchases! With a forecast of dry weather and 36 participating households and performers, it’s looking very promising!
