The council has now collected all the blue and red plastic boxes which were on Glenogle Road so if you no longer want yours and you missed the collection, please take them to a council recycling depot.
From now on, the only bins which need to be taken to Glenogle Road are the brown wheelie bins (for garden waste). All other bins should be emptied by the council if they are at your garden gateway by 6am on the relevant Tuesday.
In order to keep the pavements on Glenogle Road and our own streets as bin-free as possible, please ensure all your bins are marked with your house number and abbreviated street name (eg 1RP for 1 Rintoul Place, 1RT for 1 Reid Terrace) so that the bin men know which belongs where and we can also all help each other by returning them to our own gardens as soon as possible after they’ve been emptied.
