Carol-singing result 2018

With ideal, calm, dry weather and a temperature just above zero degrees, our carol-singing on Sunday 16th December could not have been better supported by singers residing in the Colonies as well as a few from the Colonies Choir, probably totalling about 60 individuals including lots of children over the course of the 2 hours as we sang our way from east to west!  The four collectors knocked on every door in our dozen streets, yielding a fantastic £561.27 in aid of Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP.org.uk), the charity which won our residents’ poll in November.

Thank you to everyone who contributed by singing and/or donating and also to the kind residents on Bridge Place who rewarded the singers with mulled wine and mince pies on completing the circuit!
