Our festive carol-singing for 2018 will be on Sunday, 16th December. It’s very much a case of ‘the more, the merrier’ so we welcome residents, friends, neighbours, young and old, musicians and singers as we wend our way up and down our cobbled streets.
We’ll meet at the footbridge at the river end of Bell Place at 4pm but if you can’t be there at the start, just join in further along for as long as you can manage. We usually finish at about 6.30pm. Carol sheets will be provided but you might like to bring your own torch (or mobile phone!) and, of course, we recommend that you dress warmly, as it can be very cold!
The charity for whom we’ll be singing has been selected from 5 nominations by Colonies residents. The charity with the most votes this year is Medical Aid for Palestinians and you can read more about it on www.MAP.org.uk.
