The Rocheid Path is one of Edinburgh’s hidden green spaces providing pleasure and enjoyment to local residents in the Stockbridge Colonies and in Inverleith as well as to visitors walking on the Water of Leith walkway.
The Friends of the Rocheid Path was founded in 2011 to promote the conservation, protection and improvement of the section of the Water of Leith river bank between the Falshaw Bridge and Canonmills. We work closely with local residents and with the City of Edinburgh Council to achieve improvements which will enhance the quality of this special part of the local environment and the enjoyment which it can provide. We also organise volunteer work parties to undertake some improvement tasks ourselves.
If you share our aims of conserving and improving this special area, making the local environment better and giving greater enjoyment to all why not join us by becoming a member of the Friends Group. Subscriptions are modest – £5 annually or £40 for life. All the income generated will contribute directly to our future programmes of conservation and improvement.
