Carol-singing result ~ Sunday, 14th December 2014

Thanks to the Colonies Choir and about a dozen residents, the door-to-door collection during our carol-singing raised a record-breaking £592.26.  The charity selected by residents and singers via a poll on this website was Medecins Sans Frontieres (www.msf.org.uk).

This year, we began at the east end of the Colonies at 4pm and finished on Reid Terrace at about 6.30pm and greatly appreciated the relatively mild, calm, dry weather after a bitterly cold week of sleet and gales.

Thank you to all who sang, especially choir members who do not live in the Colonies, donated and generally enjoyed the start to the festive season in the Stockbridge Colonies.
